ordering baby chicks

I'm looking for companies that sell baby chicks already 6 weeks old. I don't have a way to keep babies warm and they already have their feathers by 6 weeks of age. I've purchased some 17 week olds but the company I purchased from only ships select breeds.

all you need to keep them warm is a light bulb one of the older kinds that gives off heat and a box to keep them in...nothing special

Right, I understand that babies need warmth. My problem is I don't have electricity in their building yet. Unfortanately, we built the hen house 500 feet away from our home. My husband said if we ended up with babies we could manage them in the home but I don't want to get that started...especially owning two frisky dogs.

I was reading some posts last night. I think some of the people at BYC sell chicks that old. You might try that.
