Yeah, I used eggs from my one year old rooster/hens on my Genesis Hova-Bator. I learned a lot from my first incubating experience. I now have more confidence in myself and my equipment and experience to increase my next hatch rate. My next batch will be Lavender Orpingtons from MyPetChicken. I didn't want trial and error on the cost of expensive eggs and high shipping rates on my first try. Good luck.Have you hatched before? Best to try and have success with local eggs than spend the big bucks for shipped eggs which have a dismal success rate. Incubation has a huge learning curve.
You HAVE hatched already. Guess I should have finished reading the rest of the posts down the line. You might try Murray McMurray Hatchery also.
