Ordering Quail Eggs

Just received another batch of 300 bobwhite eggs. USPS "Priority 3 Day" delivery once AGAIN took 7 days...I'll demand that eggs be shipped via FedEx or UPS from now on. Out of the 300 there were 38 that were crushed. I'm not having as much success as I'd like with the first 200 but we'll see how this batch does.

If they were insured I would put in a claim for them. Hope you have a good hatch rate but really would pitch a bit-- if it was me. good luck.

I think most of it was due to poor packing. They packed them in cardboard egg crates and the middle crate had shifted and instead of leaving a gap over the eggs the tray above it was resting on top of the eggs.
