I've been visiting few of your guy's websites, blogs, and BYC pages and must say that I'm enjoying reading About you and your chicken obsessions. My favorite Part is hearing the names you have graced your wee ones with. HP is great (I keep imagining it said in Paula Deane's voice), Thaddeus, and Zephyr (my neighbor's child is named Zephryn, so perhaps it's a sign :)

Tables: Please bring your own tables (6'- 8' max please) but I think we will have enough chairs. The rental provides 10 tables that we are using for the welcome table, the raffle items and the businesses will each get one. If we have some leftover, they will be available but I cannot reserve any at this time for individuals. There are a couple people bringing extra tables, please PM them directly if you are in need of one (don't have one, can't haul it to the swap etc.) - Alexis and Tam'ra of Rainbow Vortex. We also get 75 chairs so I think that should be enough, but feel free to bring your own if you'd rather.
Building information: Here is some information and photos of the building off the fairgrounds website. It will be important that we keep all our swap items behind, on or under our tables in order to keep the walk areas clear. I don't think we will be packed in like sardines so I'm sure there will be wiggle room for this. Some people bring a lot, some people only a few things - it will all balance out. I am hoping for a nice fall day so we can leave the doors open and maybe set up at least the vendors bringing bigger items up just outside of them (breaking the rules, but I think we'll be ok).

Potluck: It looks like we are NOT going to have a potluck at this event. However, please feel free to bring anything you want to fix or store in the kitchen area. We have it so we might as well use it. Nutcakes will be there all day, probably starting in the morning while we are setting up, selling donuts, muffins, cookies and other goodies. They may possibly be bringing some lunch items too. I will try and confirm this soon.
Set up/Clean up: Since I only live 5 minutes from the fairgrounds, I will be there to unlock the doors around 8am that morning. Due to the traffic I think we will be getting at this event, I think it would be good to be completely set up before 11am. The swaps usually drag on a little past 4pm, but I think we can start cleaning up as soon as the crowds wind down. The entire building will need to be swept and everything put back into place before I can turn the keys in. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!

-1 black/lav split LF Ameraucana cockerel. This is a gorgeous roo! He could be shown as a pure black and nobody would know the difference! He's about 4 months old now, and hatched from a very blue egg.
- 2 light brown leghorn hens. 1 year old. They came from a hatchery and might be Welsummer/Leghorn crosses. They came out of the Welsummer bin, and lay a light brown egg, but they are VERY Leghorn-esque in appearance, and have white earlobes.

Most of these birds will be for sale at the Stevenson show the week before the swap, so if you want something let me know ASAP, or they might be gone....

-Seramas - I have 2 breeding pens set up, one is a tri color male with a mottled female, the other is a tri color pair with a black tailed buff frizzled female

Most of these eggs are also available now if anyone is interested in hatching some before the swap. BUT I am NOT reserving hatching eggs for the swap itself, the eggs will be first come, first served only.
