Am I buying Chipotle? I owe you some burrito bucks! I need to pick your brain anyway about 4-H meetings and fair.

So this week is shot, tomorrow's already Thursday. We're in Bend for the weekend (might be able to coordinate picking her up on Sunday) and I will literally be out of it all next week. I'm having a sinus procedure but under a general. I have a very badly deviated septum and it's interferring with my sinus drainage...I have mold allergies and a lot of snot...welcome to Oregon! Anyway I was hoping he'd throw in a rhinoplasty and eyelid tuck at the same time, but the surgeon says I don't need it..yet..how nice of him! I'll probably have 2 black eyes and I'll have to recoup from a general, then no bending or lifting for 2 weeks. I'm sure the 1st week I'll be pretty miserable. Would week after next be OK? If not, let me know. Maybe if my DH heads down to Eugene or Corvalis he can pick her up. Or if my son goes to the Markum Inn he could get her. This is a weekly thing with him and his Scott's Mills/Silverton Buddies.

Whatever works for you - Sundays I leave for work at 3pm though...we can always play it by ear and see what happens.

Lol my outside buff silkies are poor and pathetic too. It wasn't until I got a silkie from oregenjen that I even knew what a real silkie was supposed to look like. I just couldn't imagine all the fuss over these ugly little creatures LOL

Yes! I tried to get Peanut's pic but she's very fast. Krista seems to be either 1st or 2nd bird so she does what she wants. Peanut is so cute she sleeps in the nest box with her bantam brahma friends. Every time I look at her during supervised outside playtime, she reminds me of a wild bird. Are you sure she's a chicken?

And as for scruffy silkies...it's what's on the inside that counts. right?

Well, the fuzzy butt girl came from Zoo and the silkie is not the best quality because I can see her eyes!!! But thank you. I have help from my chicken-loving-son in picking them out.
