Sorry to hear about your special needs one

I know how you feel though, I love all mine but I am not taking on anymore special need chickens.

Let me know what you might need (if any) to round out your Seramas

As I said, I'm pretty sure I have 5 boys and 8 girls so I can help you out if needed. Which one is screaming roo? If you can post photos I might be able to help. I can already tell on most of mine.

UGH and I just realized that one of my large fowl black / lavender split Ameraucana pullets (Paul Smith hens with a Harry Schaffer lav roo, hatched from Crystal Creek's HUGE blue eggs) has a few small feathers on her shanks - so she is available too...$20. Hatched April 13th.

Also, my friend Teresa got a Serama roo "Ivan" from Laura at the spring swap. She loves him and he is very very sweet, but her family is strongly objecting to his crowing. He crows alot and at any time of day. She is supposed to take some pics of him and text them to me soon...if anyone is interested, he is free to a good home.

Yeah, he's with a lavender bantam Ameraucana hen that she got from me. She had to move him outside because he was living in her bedroom and started crowing in there.....

My two Serama Roos crow all the time also, but I like it. Frankie has a nice one and Angus's still cracks (like a teenager!) But it is cute.
Angus (he is the tiny roo I bought along with the hen (Amanda).) He is really turning out to be gorgeous!! Comb and waddle is changing to a real bright red and his feather coloring is such a bright shiny black with that dark green sparkle! I can get him to do the Serama stance, but want keep in for very long, so I need to work with him. The only bad feature, his legs/feet. They aren't green, but are dark. He is alot smaller than Frankie. (closer to the size of Jonnie) I need to dig out my jewelry scale and weigh him. Can you breed out the leg coloring? Does it talk a long time? Is it even worth it? If I can get Jim to help me, I'll try and get some 'good' pics of him.
I like roosters! If I could, all I would have is roos! Jim might leave me, but (oh I better keep Jim!)...
It would be neat though. Little tiny coops and runs all over the yard and house. All with one Rooster in them!! LMAO
