We are all addicts and many of us are enablers. If nothing else purely by encouragement.
Glad you're coming to the swap. I bought my two muscovies at the last swap, so, yes, people bring ducks. In fact, I love ducks! I'm sure you'll have a great time at the swap.

I'm so excited!!! At least now I know I'm getting a Polish. Hopefully it will help me be more patient waiting for the swap
Nah, now I really can't wait
Excited about the raspberries too
How well do your Polish lay? They weigh about 4-5 pounds is that right? What are their personalities like?
My polish lay about 3 to 4 eggs a week each. They lay nice sized white eggs. I do have one polish hen who lays more like 5 eggs a week, but she's an exception I think. They are a lighter large fowl breed for sure. I think 5 pounds is about right. I think the hens are closer to 4 and the roosters can get up to 6 pounds. Their personalities are great! I fell in love with this breed because of their personalities. They are goofy little clowns that are real easy to handle. Some of my polish follow me around just waiting to be picked up, and all of them are calm when I do handle them. Because their giant crests can impede their vision they are often at the bottom of the pecking order when housed with other breeds, but they seem to be okay with that. All of my polish seem to just take life in stride.
