I have a large Oregon Grape plant and am wondering if the berries on the plant are safe for my hens to eat?

As in table grapes? Or not grapes, but just called grapes?

Table grapes are fine for chickens

Oh.... I looked it up... not normal grapes...

It is toxic, but only slightly. So, I wouldn't worry about it being in the landscape, but I wouldn't feed it to the chickens.

Table grapes are fine for chickens

They are not like table grapes. The plant is sometimes called holly-leaved berberry. They are more like a berry.

They can be eaten by humans but are pretty sour. I have made jelly with them for us humans but I am wondering if there are any toxins in the seeds that make them dangerous.
