Geebs!

Just think about those children's poor mother, forced to neglect her children once again in order to build yet another coop.......

Well There is four of them... and if you are going to keep them in the manner that they are accustom.. That would be at least a 48 by 48 shop!!! ha ha...
lau.gif
(oh and did I mention they need more room as they are growing)... I was thinking they may need an aviary... oh and a hot tub next to it so that the proper humidity level can be reached.... Is it sounding more tempting yet????

If I just did my math right, and that is a big if, your shop is about 1000sqft bigger than my house. Your birds have it made! Heck, if you and Cloverleaf are building, we'll move into the peafowl "house" and they can have our house.

I'll let them barrow the hot tub though. LOL.

Last time I had peafowl, I was sixteen and my dad was on a poultry spree. After they were adults they free ranged and roosted in the trees. One of the peacocks thought he was a chicken because they were raised with them. Lets just say his teenage phase was...interesting,

Guinea hens (that's what they are called in Texas where I'm from) are the best security system ever! I had a friend who had a herd of them and you couldn't even drive down her road in the country without those things going off! They are so much fun to watch, too. I used to live about one-quarter mile from the zoo in Ft. Worth and all day I could hear the peacocks who roamed the zoo park calling their girls. Loved it! My husband would kill me if I even considered bringing one home. Now, if someone happened to drop one off here without our "knowledge"...
