If any one is interested i have two bantam black cochin girls who are very broody they have been stressing out my other chickens to lay and then once they get an egg will protect all 6 nesting boxes and not let anybody else lay! they handle themselves well and my little Roo is no longer interested in doing the deed with them. I am looking for a new home for them where their broodiness can be used. these beautiful girls have been bossing around my full size faverolle girls.
I would love to bring them to one of my BYC Buddies!

I am ordering heat packs and thinking about bringing some extras to sell for those who just want a few chicks and have a long drive.
They are the 40 hour small animal heat packs. I would have to charge $3 to cover cost and shipping.
Would there be any interest from anyone or should I just buy my own for me?

If you do order some i will buy a couple from you! I have a lot of people wanting the small chicks that have a bit of a drive to get them home even meeting half way, not to mention we are moving soon and they would come in handy if i still have little chicks that haven't sold! if you get any extra bringing them for people who want small chicks is awesome to, really not a bad idea.

Well I witnessed my favorite silver laced bantam cochin "pullet" crowing this morning...

He is one of the sweetest chickens I've ever had and I'd rather find him a new home sooner than later since I'm already so attached, so if anyone is interested please PM me!
