Zoomummzy, it is possible that you might be able to do the licensed home kitchen, if you can make the case that a cheese cake is a pie. Very limited baked goods are allowed, but pie is one of the things allowed.

It doesn't work for me. Only cakes, pies, bread, and rolls. No specialty flours allowed for the rolls and only enriched flour for the breads. Makes it impossible to do gluten-free baked goods. Pie crust is impossible and I can't make a living selling nothing but cake. I need to be able to sell cookies, and cookies and crackers aren't allowed with the home kitchen license.

Still, surely cheesecake could be counted as a pie?

I am actually fine selling my cheesecakes to friends. You can do anything you want with your homebaked goods in a private setting. It is when you open it up to the public - advertising, etc - that you have issues I've learned.

Problem is, you can't license your kitchen if there are any free roaming animals in the house.
