Oregon Spring Poultry Swap May 5, 2012 in Canby!!!

Sounds like I'll be staying overnight in Corvallis and leaving from there the day if the swap to get there extra early.

So, how much space are we going to be allowed at this swap? Is it just the space for our tables or are we aloud to expand a bit and use some of the grass as well?

Just wondering since I have a couple of metal dog fences and such that I would like to set up if I'm able to. And also the Chicken Bingo may take up some extra space.

What if we put you on a corner? Generally, people bring the 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 quick shades, and that's pretty much your space. I don't want to have people going too far out in front of their spaces because it cuts off the flow of the foot traffic to other vendors. BUT if you were on a corner, then you could jut out to the side and behind your space a bit...Does that work? That would probably be a better idea for the informational things you plan on doing as well.

Also, I would like to add that these things get really really hectic, you may not have enough time for all of the things you are planning.... JMO... ;)

The things that concern me about the requirements for your stuff Rob, is if your racks will do ok on the soft grass...??? I plan on putting you on an end as well, closest to the parking lot, and that way, you can do the same thing as sumatra503, and jut out to the side, etc...

To add to my list - I have 2 large fowl salmon Faverolles cockerels. At least one of them is pet quality (but he's gonna be a HUGE boy like his daddy - he's only about 4 1/2 months old and probably weighs 6 pounds already). The other one could be breeder quality, but I'm guessing he'll be pet quality as well, and he'll be a LOT smaller than the big fella. :)

Yes the racks will be fine in the grass I have boards to put under the wheels on the bell rack and the other racks aren't that heavy.
