Most people I know that feed Organic, go Purina. Me, I just go egg layer. Organic feed is just too expensive for me with all the birds I have. Besides, I get between 24 to 33 eggs a day. I eat perhaps 12 eggs a month. The rest I give to my church for the local food bank to feed the needy. Last month (Oct) I gave the Church 55 Dozen for the food bank. I don't think the food bank cares if the eggs are Organic or not.
That's a true statement, but it's more complicated than that. You can't claim your eggs are organic unless your operation is certified organic.so if dont use organic chicken feed for your chickens, technically their eggs arent organic?
