Organic eggs

I let my flock free range alot along with their regular diet. Can their eggs be considered to be organic?

It depends. If they have access to pesticide or herbicide plants, or eat any non-organic foods, they aren't going to be officially organic. The certification program is very strict; if you want to sell organic eggs or birds, you have to go through that process. If you want to feed organic feeds, but not get certified, that's fine, but you can't call your product organic. Mary

My flock meets all the requirements so I will be looking into the organic certification program
