dh and i drove 138 miles to buy a bag of organic layer and scratch.i had read some good reports on it.i try to give my small flock the best of care.it was very pricey and with the cost of gas.it was way pricey.they will not even eat it i will be going back to their purina layer.

Was it a different texture? I have changed chicken feed a million times over the years and never had a flock not eat right away. Hope it works out for you.

to me it looks like dried soup mix.it has field peas oats,wheat.alfalfa,cracked corn.and more stuff .thats just some of the stuff that i can idenify.it looks very tasty to me.it is chunky.but they walk away from it.it has a herbal smell to it.
