Organic Home Brew Grains- Yummy!

My friend that brews organic beer brought over a huge pail of grains after brewing yesterday afternoon. My girls are going bonkers over it this morning!!

I don't even know what to do with this big pail AND he said he'd drop more off in 2 weeks!! Can i freeze it in ziplocks??

I feed my spent grains all the time. It freezes just fine.

Lucky you and lucky chickens

A local pig farmer gets the spent grains from a nearby microbrewery in 50 gal drums. Those are some real happy, healthy hogs.
