I'm looking for an organic laying hen. I would like the chicken to be Australorp, Barred Rock, Easter Egger, Buff Orpington or would consider another heritage breed. I currently have 6 Speckled Sussex (I believe) all girls and am also looking for a roo for them. I would like to get a chicken that's laying eggs as mine can't lay soon enough...too hard to buy real pastured (non-GMO) eggs at the local health food store.
I would consider driving a reasonable distance. I'm in the Albany, NY area.
