My girls are about 14 weeks and have just finished up their first bag of medicated starter crumbles. I picked up Organic Pride Grower feed for their next bag. I'm not sure if I like it. It's not pellets or crumbles, just a mix of powdery junk and grain. I mixed some with the last of the starter crumbles, and I think it just fell out on the ground. Seems pretty wasteful as I don't think they are going to eat much of the powdered junk.

Anyone else try this? Any thoughts?

I would not worry about it to much.

my dogs pick out their food brand!

they will probably eat it all up, sometimes it takes a few days for them to decide they can live with it.

my feed has a bunch of powder in it and i hang my feeder so the powder goes on the ground. they eventually get to it because they probably prefer eating from the ground. they do seem to prefer the larger chunks (less work per calorie) but it all just keeps going away.

either they are doing it or some mice are getting to it.
