Organic vs conventional feed?

I buy organic because I think it makes for a healthier individual. I also ferment my feed and my chicks go out foraging pretty much everyday. They are only 16 weeks old and I have 12 of them. Since I ferment the feed, they only eat about 2 cups of feed a day. Since the fermenting reduces the amount they eat, I can afford the organic. Any reduction in pesticides going into my chickens and then into the eggs is a good thing for me.

I don't know if that was directed at me, but I'm not putting anybody down, just asking an honest question, that I'd really like to know.
