Organic vs Reg feed.

I was wondering if the organic feed is really that much different in the Backyard setting when they are eating bugs and stuff anyways. The organic where I'm at is about twice the price and didn't know if it is really worth it? Has anyone switch from one feed to the other and found much of a difference in the egg taste? If not, what if I switch feed a few months before slaughter? Would that make the meat taste like organic meat?

Organic or non-organic is not going to change the taste of the eggs or the meat. Organic is much more about whether they eat manmade chemicals or naturemade chemicals, not about flavor.
