Organs formed outside body?! Why?

Are these deformities out of a large number of eggs? In other words, is this like a 4 out of 100 type scenario? I’m no expert, but I imagine that this just happens occasionally.

That’s what I’m thinking. I hatch around 200 eggs per year and I’ll get like 3-4 chicks a year with deformities.

I’m not real worried about the deformities. I was just wondering why these may of occurred.
