Hi,

I'm a brand new member although I've read lots of posts over the years.

In answer to the questions....
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
(3) What breeds do you have?
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

1) Had chicken chores as a kid. / Started raising chickens again recently (last few years).

4) How could I NOT find BackYardChickens.com? If you have a question about chickens, and you have access to the internet, it's the first site to pop up!
5) Tropical fish, astronomy and sleeping on occasion.
6) I have three children and nine grandchildren. For pets, our family has cats, dogs, guinea pigs, fish, fish, fish, fish.... I work for a local education facility as the resident assistive tech specialist.

Hello and welcome!

Isn't that the truth! I still have a lot of questions and I know so much too but there is always someone with more experience, I can and I'm sure others too rely on for help when needed here on BYC! This is the best site I have found pertaining to every question imaginable about chickens and other animals!
