Shadefoot padded over to Darksky. "Congratulations," he said dryly, "You've been promoted."

"As have you." He replied

"Darksky! I am sorry!" Rainwing said.

"You have no reason for being sorry other then for leaving camp when told not to." He growled in a low tone

"I know, but I do not regret it. " She held her head high. "Shadefoot and I have done a great thing, to help our Clan. I am a loyal cat, please forgive me."

(I'll admit, I gaped like a fish when I read that. Well, actually, a bit more like:

Shadefoot, for the first time in his life, was utterly speechless. Promoted. That meant – deputy? Then he bowed his head slightly, "If you are sure, then it would be a great honor."
