Ornamental Breed lovers!!

Hey guys I just wanted to know if anyone else was an ornamental chicken breed lover. As almost everyone knows, Polish Crest are my ABSOLUTE favorite!

I'm too practical for that. But I appreciate that others have far greater sense of aesthetics than I. Sort of like I can't paint or play music, but I appreciate Rembrandt and Bach.

Same here. But I like to look at the pictures people post here on BYC.

So I can't really vote yes or no.

I guess so? I wouldn't necessarily classify gamefowl as ornamental, since they have a purpose. So yes, sort of. I have aseel, and I'm looking to breed them. Aside from that I do have some bantam mixes, and I'd possibly consider breeding a pure breed someday, but I'd say the bulk of my birds have a purpose, which is egg laying

Any breed can be Ornamental. Especially when you mix their colors.

Another Ornamental chicken, is designer breeds, which are just fancy crossbreeds.
