Orphan baby quail, any help would be great!

Thank you everyone for your help! Unfortunately, I left to go buy some starter feed for it and when I returned home she'd passed away. So sad to see the little thing go! After reading threads here and looking up some more info I was getting rather excited to be a quail mommy

granmahen that was a good idea! I actually already had a mini hamster water bottle in there, and she was pecking at it, but I kept the dish in just incase she wasn't strong enough to push the ball.

Yeah Shelley they look like coturnix to me I do see 2 lines they just look thicker. A bob would be tan triangle shape but again its just one picture

Well we simply must get you some new quail then.

Yeah, I see a stripe down the middle of the head thing, but it doesn't look (to me) like a coturnix's stripes. But idk, I've only had bobs once. A shot of the face and beak would have been most helpful

I'm sorry for your loss!
I think you did the best you could under the circumstances. The chick/s were probably over stressed when you found them.

If you happened to have been bitten by the quail bug, then by all means read up, purchase, make or refit any equipment necessary to raise them.
Raise birds on your own terms and budget.
