Orpington anyone?

Five years ago I started out with 2 Cochins from a feed store. They were happy and healthy until one of my sweets girls succumbed to a crop condition two days ago. I am heartbroken, but more importantly I need to find a new friend for my remaining hen. I have been looking for a Gold Laced Orpington (because I have read that they are docile and quiet birds.) however I’ve not been able to find a pullet in my Central FL location. If anyone has a suggestion of how I may find Orpy pullet friend for my lonely hen please contact me. [email protected]

You might consider a different color of Orpington. I never heard of that color until now, so I looked it up. But I'd say they are rather rare, so you'd have better luck getting a Buff, or a Blue, something like that.
