Orpington Bantam not laying yet!

It's now April and my 3 year old Orpington bantam 'Ellie' hasn't started laying yet! she sits in the nest box a lot - but then again she's quite lazy and tends to do that anyway, she sits by the entrance and watches the world go by. All the rest of my chickens, 9 in total have all been laying for quite a while, one has even started and gone broody, whilst Ellie has never produced an egg this year. Should I be worried and is there anything the vets or myself can do? I don't want to stress her out by bathing her unless I think it's serious.

I'd say if she is acting normal, she is probably fine. In my experience, some of the fancy little bantam breeds aren't very good layers, and since 3 is just tipping the older side of the laying spectrum, it could be a combo of breed and age?
