We had three of these black ones and one was crowing and is no longer with us. The first three pictures are one bird and the second three another. I can't tell them apart and neither has crowed that I'm aware of. Neither of these four-month-old birds carries themselves like a Rooster. We have a dominant Rooster and there is no conflict with the birds pictured here. The wind was blowing in the first three pictures so the tail feathers are fluffed up from the wind in at least one picture. We are new chicken owners and so far it's been a fun adventure. They are free to explore our property all day and having a great time. Thanks, Ken
