Orpington's and the rain

Even my two week old orphans will seek shelter from the rain. As long as they can access it without fear they will. You can always make a little 'run to' shelter outside for them, a roof and two sides...they do like to look out from inside and watch the world from there.

I don't have any BO's but mine will get under their coop when it rains. They won't go inside when it's raining, tried putting them inside one time and they came out and ran under the coop faster than I could get them in.

After I got mine in the coop, I closed the door! Now they all go in when it rains!
