Different breeds get combs and wattles at different ages...I got 2 barnevelders and a barred Plymouth Rock at same time...my b.r. Is laying with big combs and wattles. Barnevelders just started getting theirs. Then again I have a b.r younger by 2 weeks who got her comb and wattle before the older one lol there is no exact age really. It’s like when women get their monthly. Every body is differentWould color have anything to do with grow rate? My girls comb and waddles are less then half the size for only being 4 weeks younger. Or do they grow that much in 4 weeks? Mines combs and waddles dont seem to look much different then a month ago but their bodies have grown a lot.
