Oscar greets me with a pout

He gives me the Amazon Eye

And shows me the source of his displeasure-he lost a feather! The horror!

Grumbling, he preens rapidly

He gives me another Amazon eye

To add insult to injury he gets spinach for breakfast

And this the face I get

OH BOY!!! SPINACH!!!


Chili seems to get very annoyed with those little down feathers when they come out. He always takes a bite or two at them as they drift away!

I don't have one but had to look anyway. He's really pretty! Or handsome, is it taboo to call a male bird pretty? lol

You can call him pretty. As long as you don't give him spinach.

I didn't have the heart to tell to tell him the feather was still there.
