We had our Board of Health meeting today at 7:30 a.m. The Board of Health voted 4-1 in favor of backyard chickens. I was unable to attend, however my husband and 3 other chicken supporters were there. Once the draft ordinance is is sent to the City Council, it will have to be read publicly 2 times before it can be voted on. We need lots of people to be vocal that are pro-chicken. Please contact me through here, Facebook, Twitter or our website so that we can share information with you and let you know what needs to be done.
