(Is this the right forum?)

I recently got a new piercing (helix). It did not hurt at all compared to what I was told it would, but it's still pretty sore (a week later) especially to sleep on.

However, now I have a slight addiction. ;-) I would like one on the other ear, but wondering for anyone else that has these particlar ones, if you can give me your experience with them. Pain level of 1-10, how was healing, etc., etc.

I am interested in tragus, rook or daith piercings, in particular. Pictures give you an extra big thank you!

To keep this somewhat on topic

be verrry careful with new piercings. I somehow caught my helix on a hanging rabbit cage today. OUCH! OUCH! OUCH!

My daughter got her tragus pierced and it was sore for a good month or so. When they pierced it they put in a hoop which was all that appealing IMO but now she has a tiny nose stud ring which looks cute.

tragus, rook or daith piercings....helix...

I have to tell you, I have not a clue what any of those things are, LOL. Never heard those words in my life! I don't pierce anything. Even my pierced ears are closed up and I own lovely 1/4k diamond studs.

Here Cyn...don't feel bad, you're not the first one I've had to show this to! ;-)

I've always wanted an Industrial... sigh. But my ears are stupid and not shaped quite right for it, it probably wouldn't heal right. Tragus look cool too, though. But I hear they hurt BAD

See, I heard the helix did, too. It was soo just a quick pinch and that's it.

I heard tragus didn't feel very bad, actually. One woman told me there are no nerve endings there so it wouldn't hurt much. I think she may have been smoking crack when she told me that.

Oh, Helix's don't hurt very much, yeah. Unless someone got it done by someone very brutal with their ears! Did you get it done with a punch gun, or with a needle?

I'll ask around about peoples experience with get the the tragus done. I'm so sad, I used to have 9 piercings on my ears, but all of my cartilage's are out now, so I just have the four in my lobes! My last helix fell out just the other day while I was sleeping, I didn't notice for a day, and although I'd had that piercing for like 5 years, it was already pretty closed up! DRAT!

Gun. I know it's not the best for the cartlidge, though.

Yeah, they do heal up wicked quick, don't they? *sigh*
