other animals with chickens?

We have a Guinea pig. I'd like to let the Guinea pig run around in the chicken run.... Will the chickens pick on it? I'll have lots of places for to pig to hide if it needs to. I've also thought about adding a rabbit. Bad idea?

My rabbit loves the chickens - The chickens don't love him so much - lol. He does get to hang out with them but they do peck him from time to time.

I'm thinking about getting a flemish giant. I have tons of room. Do you have a separate hutch for your rabbit?

I do have a separate hutch for him but its in the same area as the chickens. He gets to be out with them a lot. He also has a cage in the house.

I'm thinking about putting a hutch in the run for my potential rabbit.... Oh gosh. My husband is going to "kill" me. While he's been away at school I've gotten chicks and ducks. Now I'm thinking about rabbits.

Chickens are known as the gateway drug to farm animals - lol... Tell him to count his blessing you didn't start with cows

Hahaha. I've always had a lot of pets. Right now we just have two dogs, two cats, a Guinea pig, a couple lizards, some fish, and now the chickens and ducks. We have had snakes, ferrets, rats, and hamsters. I'm kinda animal crazy. Lol.

Haha too funny about the gateway drug! I just got my first chicks a week ago and can already feel more in my future! I also have bunnies. Two small Holland Lops. I was considering the same thing. Somehow have their hutch attached to the chicken run. Right now they live on my deck with and free range all day from 7am to about 10-12 pm. But the deck is not as fun as the dirt. Just curious about others experiences. I dont think my Silkie would bother them. But the big girls may.

My chickens love going into the rabbit hutch - even find eggs in there - funny girls. WE have dogs, cats, rabbit, chickens, blue front amazon, fish, & a tortoise. Had to put my horse down a few years ago & haven't been able to bring myself to get a new one.

After my ferrets died i just can't get anymore. I loved those guys.
