So it is winter and there are these little birds that come in groups of 20 and go into my coop and shelter and eat my chickens' food, poop in there water, etc. They are starting to cause damage. I have tried bird netting but they where getting stuck and that was not pretty. I have tried boarding things up but they always find their way in. I don't know what to do to keep them out??!?!?!?

I use deer netting. Never had a bird get caught in netting. I had it up since April. I got it at TSC.

Oh, this isn't good. They could be spreading parasites.

Do you know how specifically they are getting in? Could you provide photos of your run?

My flock must be vicious.... they chase any and all little birds away as soon as they land. I've even had them kill a couple of house wrens.
Wow! There has only been 1 time when I found a bird in the run. The only way it could have possibly came in was through the chickens' little door. It was freaking out and slamming against the walls trying to figure out a way to get out while my chickens were pecking at it. :gig

these look like 2 different coops. The very open one on the ground, clearly easy for birds to get in. The painted one could use a roof of sorts over the door, this may deter them from flying in. You could additionally put curtains around the door to lessen their access or to possibly deter them. Cute coop.
