Other hens pecking my hen around the vent

Oh my gosh that's a bare pink bottom! Well, I've seen a few bottoms get bald around molting time but that's usually Autumn, not Spring. When mine got bare & attracted pecking, I did spray with Blu Kote. The color of bare skin or pink or blood attracts more pecking, the color Blue does not. Just an idea. When sprayed, btw, this stuff can get messy, may want to wear plastic glove...I had a Blue hand for a few days Lol.

The skin on her butt is bright red.

Have had several birds like this.
The red might come and go within days, or last for months.
Never figured out what was causing it,
and it seemed to bother me more than it bothered them.
