I think about the girl in my class that got pregnant at 14, baby at 15 and 1/2. Typical girl wanting to get out of a crappy home life - gets pregnant so her parents will sign the consent to marry the baby daddy...BIG scandal in my little town back in the mid 80s.

Anyway.... If that had been ME, my kid would be 24 now. ... 24!

Geez...

My hubby worked in mental health as an RN at one point - they had a person come in the rehab unit that had her daughter at 15, her daughter had HER daughter at 15 or 16 and THAT girl had just had HER first baby at 15.

She was a GREAT-grandmother at 33. No wonder she needed rehab.

How's THAT for a reality check? See, it could always be worse LOL.

Me too , mental hiatus ! My oldest son will be 22 next month , then i have boys 18 , 12 and 9 and my daughter just turned 4 last month. Plus I have a 1 year old adorable grandaughter by my oldest and I am 41.​

I am 44, my dh is 60........my kids are 29, 26, 23, 15, 12 and 9. And we have a 7 year old grandkid.

So yep I started young, but at least none of mine have yet!

Although it was/is a bit strange having the gkid and youngest so close in age, people just always assume she is mine

Old smold! I am 55 my eldest DD is 23 my DS is 12....but I am often mistaken for his grandmother because of my naturally white hair!!! They get a surprise when I tell them I am his Mother, just because your hairs white it definately does not mean your old! It's all down to the white hair as I have very very few wrinkles, still slim and have more engery than women half my age......... well at least the woman half my age that I do know........

I've been feeling like I've been getting old ever since age 7. Seriously. And I'm turning 30 next July.

I want to make sure that I get the most out of my 30's, 40's and beyond, unlike my 20's. Spent too much time carrying around my pregnancy weight this past decade and didn't have the energy to do nearly as much as I should have been doing. I finally became determined to drop all of the extra weight (70+ lbs) at the beginning of this year. Color me shocked when I was able to slip into my old size 14 jeans from high school this month... and even more shocked when they got too loose (last year I couldn't even pull them up past my thighs). I'm about 30lbs away from my goal, and to my 30's I say, "Bring it on!" My 2nd grader and preschooler are happy their mom gets up and dances with 'em now. Building all of these things in preparation for our chickens has certainly helped me with the exercise I've been in need of! Yay chickens!

P.S. I still enjoy Halloween too.

I'd dress up even, were it not for the strange strange looks I'd get from other parents.

Dont get me wrong. I don't FEEL old. Maybe that is why it hit me like it did.
I still feel like I am in my 20s. 25ish actually. Sure my body isnt like it was when I was 25ish. But mentally etc I dont feel much different or see myself as "old" enough to be the mom to a teen. Which I now know I actually am. Thing is. My mom had me when she was 29. Had my sister at 33.
I had my daughter when I was 32. And my sister will be nearly 35 when her baby is born in March. So she is going to be getting this as well. Which is going to be really fun Especially since she called me one night crying about her "abs disappearing" LOL
