Ouch!!!!!!

Today when I picked up one of my hens my roo attacked. He hasn't done this before when I picked them up. I think it was because my hen started crying like I was hurting her. Anyway he hit my elbow and forearm and now I have lump on my arm. I didn't know that they could hit that hard

. I was pretty mad if my mom didn't love him and I didn't love him he wouldn't have made it. I on held him ground and chased him a bit.

That sounds painful! When one of my pullets leaped up and bit my finger, I just put my hand gently, but firmly on her back for a minute. That's probably a lot easier with pullets though. Good luck. I hope that he sees you as the boss soon!

Sorry your girl bit you. He usually does see me as boss but he saw me mistreating one of his wives he freaked.
