LOL - hubby and I had the exact same thought with our first egg. Well that was a fantastic $400 egg. Of course, the same is true for the first fish after you buy the $20K boat, $1K in gear, licenses, gas getting there, etc. All said and done, eggs are cheaper than fish!!

From Chick Norris Wife: that is correct, he scared me half to death yelling for me to come downstairs. I thought we definitely had some kind of major trauma on our hands.

. I yelled for my six year old, "we've got an egg". He ran so fast he missed stepping on stairs and face planted. Bleeding and limping he still ran into coop. He asked to hold the egg and after he held it, started to notice his leg was bleeding! We were excited about ours too, to say the least.
