Our 1st "Green" Egg!

What breed gave you that beautiful dark egg behind the green one? Welsummer?

Very beautiful. It's actually blue though, but very nice! Green eggs are unmistakeably an avocado green color.

As far as I know everyone but the Easter Eggers should lay brown eggs... though I guess the EE's could potentially lay brown as well. The egg in the far back of the pics that looks sort of cream colored is actually a very strange brown that looks like it has a cream glaze over it. When it's wet it looks very brown, but dry it looks more creamy colored.

LOL!! Yeah I guess I should of said our 1st "MINT GREEN" egg!! I know it's not the avocado green, but it's definitely not blue either... looks much bluer in the photo than it actually is. It's from an Easter Egger so it's one of those "unique" colors.
