My father breeds Springers so I know about grape toxicity... it's funny that alot of people think they're feeding their dogs a healthy treat not knowing it could potentially be harmful. It also has ALOT to do with the type of grapes and the type of dog. We'd come home and have a whole plate of brownies missing and the dog would be fine, or a whole bag of grapes would vanish out of the fruit bowl with no ill effect. I try not to play russian roulette with my dogs tho.

They are toxic for dogs and can cause their kidneys to shut down! Some dogs eat a couple and they act OK but may still have gotten some kidney damage. Some dogs can die from eating just one. I am an animal behaviorist with a background in veterinary medicine and couldn't help but notice the grapes in the photo with your pup. He's way to darling to lose!
