They are not too keen on the camera, so this is the best I could do for now.

Any ideas of what they might be (breed) now at 10 days??

Awww...

I could be way off, but it looks to me like you might have a Welsummer in that second picture.

I am desperate to find out what they might be.

We were at TSC today and they had some that looked like some of ours Tetra Tents and some kind of blacks (I was told that they didn't know there actual name)

Try looking at a hachery magazine there is pictures of chicks for and I think it is a good point of reference.

I have a chick that looks just like the one in the front of the 1st and 3rd picture. I ordered dark egg layers and thought it was Barmevelder, but it has dark grey legs. Would love to know if it is something over than an EE!

Not sure what your other ones are. Maybe Speckled Sussex?

It's the 3rd picture down. Sorry! And the chick that is front row and center. Lol The brown that is standing nice and tall. It could be that it is a brown leghorn too. There are several chicks that look like that when feathering out.

My dad says that the 3 brownish/redish ones may be Rhode Island Reds, but I just don't know. The people that I got the eggs from (2 different sets/people) told me that there were some Americauna (sp?) hens and roos, so I just don't know.

When I looked at TSC website and found the pics of the different breeds they sell, I found the Black Australorp and that one looks just like the little one in pic #3 with the white under his neck (in front of one of my white/yellow chicks).

Thanks

Wished I knew! I would love to know who is male and female so I would know who to put on craigs list. The way the 'play fight' I think they are all roosters!
