Husband brought them home and we have no history on them. No idea of age or even what kind they are. Still we love them even if they are not laying yet except for one who layed and egg w/out a shell

Beautiful photos - I especially love the one using the chair to frame the subject. Are they ex-battery hens - their debeaking makes me think that. Apparently because of the debeaking they can only eat store bought food, and find it hard to forage for worms - is this true? So good they have a new home!
