We're waiting for the call. Our first mail order birds...nervous and excited.

And we're new here. Me, (the bird obsessed one), my husband (the coop builder!), and 6 year old son. One sweet old dachshund Clarence, and a soon to be arriving English Cocker Spaniel pup, Hazel, and one of each hen: EE, Speckled Sussex, Turken, Cuckoo marans.

Hello and welcome!

Isn't it so exciting and fun to get your first peeps?! And you guys sound all prepared for the new arrivals! I started with just 3 little Golden Buff Hybrids, and now I've got 19 chickens! I love it!

Hope everyone arrives healthy, cute and fuzzy for ya! Out of the breeds you've selected, I do have EEs and one Speckled Sussex hen. They're wonderful--you'll love them.
