Our Chicks are 1 Week Old Today!

Well the title says it all but I can hardly stand their amazing cuteness! Why doesn't everyone have chickens?

They are so adorable, but every time they flop over to go to sleep I have to stand there and watch to be sure they are all still breathing!

Mine too, I got my 32 ( plus one free unknown) buff orps last Monday and they are all doing great. I had a few to get pasty butt in the first couple of days but cleaned them up with warm water and a wash cloth then dried them with a blow dryer on low. They are growing so fast I don't think my brooder is going to be big enough, I think they might move to their new coop later this week.

I wish they weren't so skittish though! Everytime any of us walk into the room that has the brooder in it they freak out and run around squawking. Any tips to make them love us?
