Our Chicks Arrived TODAY! Feb 4!!

I called the PO this morning and they were there!! All 20 healthy as can be... peeping their little heads off! They are so cute!!!! My pictures are from my phone so they don't do the peepsters justice but here are a few of em!!

Enjoy! Before you know it, they'll be big and sassy. Loooooooove the dark chipmunk EE. Seeing the fun colors when they feather out is part of the joy of EEs.

One of the six Barred Plymouth Rocks I ordered is not doing so well. She just lays around and hasn't been doing much all day. I hope she gets better.

All the others I am glad to say are still moving and grooving. So CUTEEEEEEEEE!!!

Update I put the sickly chick into a seperate minibrooder with one more barred rock for a broodmate. She has started eating and drinking and moving around alot more.

Snuggled up to a hot dry rice sock here and there for a chick nap. I hope she is getting better, at least now she is not competing with the rest of the chicks!
