Our chicks hatched today!!!

So, we have had a Broody hen for almost a month...Weren't sure if it would all work out, BUT IT DID! She has been laying on 13 eggs... so far we have 8 babies! I am so in love with them! She has been great and very trusting with us. We went out and built a rabbit pen type of cage with a heat lamp for Momma and her babies- The transition went great and everyone is happy and the chicks are extremely playful!

What a great Easter surprise!
