Well here it is. The Chik-N-Shak. There is one nest box but I pulled it out for the sake of I didnt build it to take these photos. I am though debating on building a row along the back of the fence about 2' off the groun with ramps and lift top lids. What do you think.

The Chik-N-Shak is 18x20 with aviary netting across the top, heavy gauge steel wire along the sides held in place with 4x4's. Also aviary netting on the inside walls to keep little heads and feet inside where the outside dogs cant mess with them. A swing door with latch lock and heavy gauge steel wire finishes it out.

I'm confused (which isn't hard to do) but did you have a hen house for the chickens? Or just the run? Do they have protection from the rain and weather? Like i said...confusion

how old are your chickens?

LOL I do have a "house" it was originally a children's play house (wooden)and converted with divisional sections (4) for nesting. But since I didnt build it I pulled it out for the coop design photos. That way you can see the raw part I am working with.

I want to do a row system along the fence. The play house was just too bulky but I am not quite sure on how to go about doing it. Our chickens are 23weeks (purchased as pullets April 15th) The ducks were purchased on or around May 1st.
