We started chicken farming this April with 6 chicks. Built a great coop and they are all fenced in. We lost a Barred Rock 2 months ago with signs of stress, prints or feathers. Today we found 2 birds missing from the coop. We did find a Buff with some feathers missing and her insides were torn out. The Barred Rock is no where to be found. We walked the woods and didn't find a sign of the Rock. Wondering is this sounds like an Owl or a Fox is our predator....I'm ordering cameras and will build a covered run in the spring.
