This has taken a lot longer then we hoped, but I am so happy with how it is coming out! Just have to paint inside, put up the perch and poop table, then wire everything (including behind their 'privacy fence'....lol). The coop is 8'x6'x6' and the run is 8'x14'. We have 8 hens, 7 regular and 1 bantam. I rehomed my two roos to a friend. We painted it to match our house. Let me know what you think. I have included a pic of my house, as well.

What an awesome job!

When can I move in? :)

You did a great job.

can you post a picture of your hens in the coop?

Thank you. Yes, I will when they are (they are still in my house...lol) Just a little more work and it will be up and running. Best part, most of it we got for free of CL, and from family. Only thing we had to buy was the wire, 2 sheets of plywood for the inside floor and a few 2x4 and2x3's (we did most of the skeleton with pallets!!)

Nice. Pallets are a good source of free wood.

I look forward to seeing pictures on your chickens in the coop.

Looks great.

I first looked at the picture of your house before reading what you had typed and I though...WOW these people must really love their flock, that looks like a full sized house.LOL.!!
